The MS Pride of America has been cruising the Hawaiian Islands since 2005. It was built in Pascagoula Mississippi, and it was the first cruise ship built in the United States in more than 50 years.
The MS Pride of America departs Honolulu Harbor every Saturday evening, and then goes to Lihue, Kahului, Hilo, and Kailua-Kona. This painting shows it returning to Honolulu Harbor at 6:30 a.m. the next Saturday.
In 2018 service to the Big Island was discontinued because of the increasing danger from Kilauea volcano.
